Woven Wire Pendant

Woven Wire Pendant is a wonderful class where you will learn to make free-form wire pendants. In this class, you'll make a basic design by hand (no wig jig here!) and learn to control the wire to get your desired shapes. You will then use the basket-weaving technique to bind the pieces together and embellish by weaving in some crystals. This technique can be modified to wrap any stone, create amazing rings, and do a variety of other projects.

Flowers on the Ave

In this class you will learn to make a beautiful and blingy bracelet using the chevron stitch. These spunky flowers make great earrings, pendants, necklaces and bracelets. Bracelets can be made thick or thin, and using bugle beads in the pattern makes for some beautiful variations.

Flat Peyote

Flat Peyote is one of the fundemental beading stitches that every beader should know! In this class, you will learn the basics of even-count peyote in your choice of projects. Projects will not be finished during class, but you will learn everything you need to know to finish! Learning flat peyote opens the door for patterns (try our NFL Bracelet class, or our Totally Tubes class), 3-dimensional shapes, and so much more!

Totally Tubes!

Once you've conquered flat peyote, give patterned tubes a try! These great tubes can be used as charms on a funky bracelet, earrings, pendants, and more! This class will go through odd-count peyote, pattern reading, and pattern creation. Two tubes are typically completed in class.

NFL Peyote Bracelet

These fun bracelets are here just in time for football season (don't worry, we're doing baseball teams, too! Dr. Jen insists!), and they are a wonderful way to learn pattern reading in flat peyote! This class will also teach you embelishments and attaching velrco as an adjustable closure. Patterns are copyright Beads on the Ave, and we will make any team pattern you request in advance!

Fall Fancy

In this class, you will learn how to do the beautiful Russian Leaves with a variation of Peyote stitch. These leaves can be made in a variety of sizes and colors to match any project, and are beautiful in clusters! They also make great accents to other necklaces and bracelets when used as a charm. You will leave class with a finished project!

Right Angle Weave

During this class you will learn the basics of Right Angle Weave, a beautiful stitch that can be made with a variety of beads for different looks. The class project is a flat bracelet, and it can be done in any material (typically crystal or fresh water pearls look the best). After you learn right angle weave, you can move on to some wonderful 3-dimensional shapes like the Puffy Heart, Crazy Cubes, Crystal Cross, and SO much more!

Coraling

Coraling is a wonderful fringing technique that you will find yourself using all the time! You will use seed beads with a variety of interesting end beads, charms, and dangles to create a beautiful pair of earrings in class! This technique can also be used on necklaces or bracelets, and as fringe on beaded ropes!

Rivoli Bracelet

This fun bracelet is taught over 2 sessions and incorporates a variety of stitches and seed bead sizes into one beautiful project. You will learn how to bezel a rivoli for the centerpiece, and the bracelet is a combination of square stitch, brick stitch, and fringe. This is a great introduction to seed bead work, and the different components can all be used seperatly for other projects.

Russian Spiral

This class teaches a beautiful beaded rope that is a great introduction to seed bead work. The rope can be made from a variety of different beads for many different looks! A Russian Spiral rope makes a great lariat, bracelet, necklace to hang pendants from, etc. When made with Swarovski crystals, it's beautiful and blingy!! Large projects won't be finished in class.

Bead Embroidery

Beaded Embroidery is a hugely creative technique that involves working with many different types of beads glued or sewn onto a backing. The possibilities are endless when it comes to possible projects: pendants, purses, collars, cuff bracelets, rings, headpieces, and so much more! In class, we will be working on a pendant or cuff bracelet. This technique is great to feature one of a kind beads or to use up the left overs we all have laying around!

Macrame' Slide Bracelet

These bracelets are all the rage right now, and you can make your own to match every outfit! Also called Shamballa Bracelets, they are made with a variety of different cords (we love leather!) woven in macrame' with a special adjustable clasp. You can use any beads and create something personal and stylish to go with every outfit!

Wrap your wrist with one of the latest trends in jewelry...the Leather Wrap Bracelet! Use a variety of beads stitched between colorful leather to achieve many different looks! Tiny Crochet

If you are looking for something delicate and dainty with style to spare, look no further! Using tiny crochet hooks and beautiful cords, we will add a variety of beads to create these long, luxurious necklaces! Semi precious stones add and earthy feel, or go for crystals to spice up your outfit! Pearls make for an elegant chain that can be wrapped multiple times to give a great vintage look. You don't need to know how to crochet, we'll teach you! You'll learn to make tiny chain stitches, a clasp loop, and how to add beads.

Crochet Cord

In this class, you will use a crochet hook to create a beautiful and solid beaded rope. There are multiple variations of this basic rope, and by using different sizes and shapes of beads you can create some unique and amazing projects! Knowledge of crochet is helpful but not needed. Project will not be finished in class, and there is some homework.

No minimum number of students! If you book a class with us, we will honor that reservation even if you are the only student!

Bring your own materials! For any class not offered at a discounted rate, you are welcome to bring materials from home.

Retake for Free! Life gets in the way, and you don't always get to practice your new technique right away. If you need a refresher, just call! We can either schedule you into the class again or get you in for some quick tech support, both for free!
